Terms & conditions

These terms apply to all orders placed on venemake.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. “We”, “us” and “VenèMake” mean the business trading as VenèMake in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@venemake.co.uk or through our contact page.

1. Your order

  • After you place an order we send an email confirming it. A contract is formed when we confirm your order.
  • We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if we can’t fulfil it, if a price was clearly wrong, or if the design breaks section 3.
  • Prices are in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. Delivery costs are shown at checkout.

2. Personalised products

  • Products are printed to your design. The preview in our designer is a close guide to the finished item, but printed colours and sizes can vary slightly from what you see on screen.
  • You are responsible for checking your design – spelling, dates, photos, layout and size – before ordering.
  • Because items are personalised, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Your rights for faulty or incorrect items are not affected – see Returns & refunds.

3. Your designs and photos

  • You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you upload or add to a design (photos, logos, text, artwork), and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • We won’t print designs that are offensive, hateful, illegal, or that use other people’s trademarks, characters or copyrighted artwork without permission. We may cancel such orders with a refund.
  • You keep all rights to your designs. You allow us to use them only to make, deliver and support your order. We will never use your designs or photos in our marketing without asking you first.

4. Dispatch and delivery

Orders are normally dispatched the next working day. Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. See our Delivery page for details.

5. Payment

Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.

6. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure, up to the price you paid for the order. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

7. Product care

Please follow the care information on the product page (for example for mugs, whether they are dishwasher or microwave safe). Stickers should be applied to clean, dry, smooth surfaces.

8. Other

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order applies to your order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in your part of the UK if you live elsewhere in the UK.
